Alan Crossan (Chair)

Alan has two daughters currently attending St Theresa’s.  After obtaining a Degree and Diploma in Architecture at Greenwich University Alan worked for major international Architecture and Project Management companies.  Alan left the City in 2008 to set up his own Architecture & Project Management company, and his office is now based on East End Road 5 minutes from school.  Alan and his family have lived in East Finchley for 10 years.

Gerry Costello

Gerry has vast knowledge about the school having been Clerk to the Governors for 21 years before being elected Chair in 2012.  Born in Ireland, Gerry grew up in Finchley, attending Our Lady of Lourdes and St Michaels.  Gerry’s professional background is in Administration and HR Management. She is very active in the parish of St Philip’s and has been a volunteer with St John Ambulance since 1981.

Fr John Dermody

Father John Dermody is the Parish Priest of St Philip the Apostle, Finchley and the School Chaplain to St Theresa’s. He was born of Irish parents and grew up in South-West London. After gaining a degree in French and Spanish, he worked in banking for nine years before responding to the call of the priesthood. He contributes greatly to the spiritual life of the School through his particular interest in the liturgy and in spiritual and pastoral development.

Linda O’Melia

Linda is our Interim Head for this current academic year at St Theresa’s. She previously was a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Sacred Heart Primary School in Whetstone. Linda has experience of being seconded to Summerside Primary School in Barnet as Assistant Head and was instrumental in developing their leadership and teaching and learning. Linda is an experienced teacher and has taught Early Years, Infants and Junior classes in her long and varied career.

Ony Ogodazi (Vice Chair)

Onyeabo (also known as Ony) has spent his entire professional career in property management.  Before turning his hand to consultancy he worked for the largest global real estate company where he was responsible for over 225 properties and a regional maintenance budget in excess of £18m.  Ony has 4 years’ experience as a parent volunteer at his son’s Saturday school in Finchley.  Ony’s son has been attending St Theresa’s since Reception.

Margaret Cronin

Margaret joined our Governing Body this year (2016-17).  She is a proud old pupil of St Theresa’s (from 1971-1978) and is endebted to the wonderful teachers and staff at the school, who set her on her way in life.

Margaret qualified as a nurse and midwife and has held senior management/leadership positions in the NHS from 1999. She has experience in: Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults; service development in the NHS; Leadership development; and service management.
