Year 4 had a fantastic time celebrating their topic ‘1066’ by taking part in an amazing 1066 workshop. The children all came to school dressed as Anglo- Saxons and looked amazing! After spending some time in their class creating sketches of castles and designing leaflets explaining the features of different castles the class took part in a brilliant workshop. The class got the opportunity to take part in lots of different stations, learning vital skills needed in Anglo-Saxon times including how to survive on the battlefield! The children’s made battle bracelets and even had a go at getting their fortune told. Please see the gallery to see what a wonderful day was had by the class.
