Our House Saints

We have a house point system, which involves four houses. These houses are named after the four saints of the British Isles, St. George, St. Patrick, St. Andrew and St. David.

Each of the houses are represented by a different colour. A pupil can obtain a house point for excellent home learning, good attendance, being polite, showing kindness, trying their best in class, good manners and good behaviour in and out of the classroom.

Each week the points are counted and, during Friday’s assembly, the scores are announced. And the winning House is put in the newsletter for all to see!

Our pupils regularly take an active role in leading worship and celebrating the lives of the saints. Through assemblies and liturgies, such as those led by our Mini Vinnies, children are inspired by the example of the saints and encouraged to live out Gospel values in their daily lives. Year 4 led a liturgy based on St Andrew, reflecting on discipleship and responding through prayer.
