Year 3 visit to Bishop Douglass for Science

To help see what science lessons might look like in their secondary school, Year 3 went to visit Bishop Douglass where they used their amazing scientific enquiry skills to solve a murder mystery.

The children learnt all about refraction and then use and applied these skills to help them solve one of the clues which gave them the identity of the criminal. Once they had solved this part they then looked at chemical reactions and saw what happens when certain chemicals are mixed together. The children really enjoyed themselves and loved the opportunity to see what life is like at secondary school.
