Year 1 Blast Off to the Science Museum!
Year 1 had an out-of-this-world adventure on their recent trip to the Science Museum, where they explored the wonders of space as part of their learning this term.
The children were fascinated by real rockets, space capsules and astronaut suits, and loved discovering how astronauts travel to and live in space. They learned about the planets in our solar system, the Moon landing, and what it might be like to journey beyond Earth.
One of the highlights of the day was taking part in interactive exhibits, where the children could experience what it feels like to launch a rocket and explore space up close. Their enthusiasm and curiosity were wonderful to see!
Year 1 represented the school beautifully and returned full of exciting facts and stories to share. What a fantastic day of learning among the stars!
