Year 2 showed some amazing knowledge of classifying animals and exemplary behaviour on their trip to London Zoo to help with their animal topic in science., The children were so lucky that because the weather was not very good the zoo was pretty much empty! We got to discover some amazing creatures such as; penguins, lions, butterflies and spiders!
The children got to take part in a very hands on workshop where they explored the different textures and features of animals and begun to sort them into different groups. It was such a good day out for us all. Please have a look at some of our best bits!
