In order to help our children with their transition into KS3 our Year 6 class worked with KONLFUX on a creative learning workshop all about road safety. The class came together to perform a play that they managed to put together in a day to our Year 5 class.
We go to meet a host of characters as we discussed important travel issues facing pupils today including eco issues & sustainable travel options, cycling to school, pedestrian and public transport etiquette and roadside distractions including mobile phones.
The workshop was an interactive way to get our students thinking more about awareness of travel options and also their roadside behaviour.
