Year 3 Visit Pizza Express!
Year 3 had a fantastic trip to Pizza Express as part of their learning about recipes and instructions. The children explored how pizzas are made, from preparing the dough to choosing fresh toppings, and discovered the importance of following a recipe carefully step by step.
During the visit, the pupils worked with the Pizza Express team to stretch their own dough, spread tomato sauce, sprinkle cheese, and add their favourite toppings. They learned about different ingredients, kitchen hygiene, and how chefs work together to prepare food safely and efficiently.
The highlight of the trip was, of course, tasting their delicious creations! The experience brought their classroom learning to life and helped them understand how clear instructions and accurate measurements are essential when cooking.
