As part of their learning about Viking in ‘Traders and Raiders’, Year 4 went to Greenwich to visit the Royal Maritime Museum and see what life was like during the Viking Age ((793–1066 CE). The children were given a wonderful tour before taking part in a really hands on workshop where they got to get a much better understanding of how everyday life has changed since the times of the Vikings.
The children had a great time and had some fantastic opportunities to develop their historical enquiry skills.
