St Theresa’s Girls Football Team had their first cup match against Chalgrove Primary School. After an intense training session with Mr Morgan in the morning, and football practice during P.E in the afternoon, the girls felt really prepared and were very excited at the prospect of representing our school. However the girls were less than impressed with the condition of the Chalgrove pitch, which was extremely muddy and something the team had not prepared for! Despite creating some excellent chances, the girls were unable to score any goals whilst the opposition managed to score on more than one occassion. The team should be extremely proud of their efforts and were a true credit to the school. Not once did they give up and it was brilliant to see how much they all enjoyed the opportunity to take part in a competitive game against another school.
