As part of their topic ‘Flanders Fields’, Year 5 have spent the day at the National Army Museum taking part in a great workshop looking at the use of propaganda during WW1. The class looked at and analysed different posters before saying what made an effective recruitment poster and I propaganda was used during wartime.
The children also got to look around the museum and see all the preparation for the VE celebrations.
