This week Year 5 were really lucky and got the opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament at the Palace of Westminster. The children were thrilled to receive a guided tour and find out all about what goes on inside and how things are debated.
Later in the day the children got a chance to house there own debate and see how things really work inside. We even got a chance to meet our local MP and ask him about all the things he gets to do on a daily basis.
