Year 5 Trip to National Army Museum

Our Year 5 pupils enjoyed an engaging and thought-provoking visit to the National Army Museum, where they took part in an interactive workshop exploring the role of propaganda throughout history. Children examined a range of historical posters, images, and messages to understand how propaganda has been used to influence opinions and shape public attitudes during times of conflict. The workshop supported their learning in history and critical thinking, encouraging pupils to analyse sources, ask thoughtful questions, and consider the power of communication. It was a valuable and memorable educational experience for all.

It was a fantastic learning opportunity for all and great to get so hands on with WW1 sources of information.
