Year 5 Trip to the Petrie Museum UCL

To explore how life was different in Ancient Egytian times, our Year 5 took an adventure to the London Petrie Museum. The Petrie Museum is home to one of the world’s largest and most important collections of Egyptian and Sudanese archaeology, telling the stories of people who lived in the Nile Valley in the past.

Our year 5 children got the opportunity to have the whole museum to themselves and took part in a series of treasure hunts and activities which really helped their enquiry skills. We came back with lots of fascinating facts all about their topics ‘Pharoahs’.
