Year 6 have been so incredibly luck to mee the legendary children’s author and Poet Michael Rosen at Church End Library. The children were able to hear Michael read from his new book One Day: A True Story of Survival in the Holocaust. The children were able to use lots of their knowledge from the lessons on WW2 to help them understand the context of the story.
The class then came up with some excellent questions before getting the opportunity to have their books signed by Michael Rosen themselves! a true souvenir to keep for a lifetime.
