Year 6 had an unforgettable hands-on learning experience during their visit to Centre of the Cell. The exciting science trip took pupils on a journey inside the human body, where they explored how cells work and why they are vital for life.
During a specialist workshop on the cardiovascular system, students discovered how the heart pumps blood around the body, how oxygen is transported, and how different organs work together to keep us healthy. Through interactive activities, realistic models, and expert guidance, the class were able to see science brought to life beyond the classroom.
The trip inspired curiosity, encouraged thoughtful questions, and helped pupils deepen their understanding of human biology in a fun and memorable way.
